Hero of 26/11 wins AAP
ticket, defeats BJP MLA in Delhi:-
Fight with the ballot and bullet turned out to be a
victory as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Surender Singh's win over three-time
frequently on BJP MLA Karan Singh Tanwar. 2013 elections he sweeps the same candidate
with 355 votes.
He always believed there are more good honest people
and but unfortunately they don't have an option. Times have changed and so will
politics of the country said Surender on his win.
Before joining politics, Surender served in the Indian
Army and was part of 26/11 terror strike in Mumbai's Taj Mahal Hotel.
After the retirement he was not given pension for 19
months and he was under treatment due to the injuries sustained at Taj. He
approached many Congress and BJP leaders, but none helped. On the day Kasab was
hanged, he meets Arvind Kejriwal. He took up the issue and he got pensions.
When he was in the Army he was ready to die for the
country and even now he is ready to give his life for the country.
